In the past 30 days, I meditated 19. Not bad! Also not 30. Takeaways?

Meditation is good for me. After meditating, I feel more passive, less reactive. I think, and have always heard, that the benefits really start to show themselves after you form a solid habit. After it becomes part of your life.

So, why wasn’t it 30 days? ‘Cause meditation is hard :sob: The brain is a stimulation junkie. It will resist passivity with all its power. It takes a lot of willpower to quiet the beast, and I don’t always have that willpower.

Willpower is a shitty way to ingrain a habit. What’s a better way? I’m sure that book, The Power of Habits, said something about it. Maybe I should revisit it.
